Advantix is the only drug that protects a dog from mosquito attacks that can infect an animal with heartworm disease (heartworms). Dosing and administration:
The drug is applied by topical (drip) application of the drug on the skin. Before use, pierce the protective membrane of the nose of the tube-pipette (putting on the cap on the back), placing the hair and pressing on the tube-pipette, apply the drug on the skin in a place inaccessible to licking animals (between the shoulder blades). When treating large dogs, the contents of the pipette tube are applied to the skin in three to four places on the back from the shoulder blades to the buttocks. The death of parasitic insects on the animal occurs within 12 hours, the death or detachment of Ixodes mites within 48 hours after treatment.
The protective effect of the drug against lice, fleas, hairflies, two-winged insects, as well as Ixodes mites after a single treatment of the animal lasts 4 – 6 weeks. Repeated treatments of animals are carried out according to the indications, but not more often than once a month.
Contraindication:
Not allowed for use in patients with infectious diseases and recovering animals, as well as puppies under 7 weeks of age.
Side effects:

Special instructions:
Due to the possible contamination of tissues, plastics and other materials with the drug, the treated animal should not be allowed to come into contact with the surrounding objects until the drug is completely dry at the treatment site. The animal should not be washed, petted or allowed to reach young children for 24 hours after treatment.
