The Philips Avent Microwave Sterilizer can be used in many commercially available microwave ovens. It is convenient to take with you on trips thanks to its compact design. You will always have a sterile bottle at your fingertips while traveling. When visiting friends, grandparents, it will come in handy as an additional sterilizer. There are latches on the panels of the sterilizer. They allow you to securely fasten the lid and prevent hot water from spilling when you remove it from the microwave. The side handles do not heat up and the sterilizer can be safely removed.

Mode of application:
Remove the basket from the base.
Pour exactly 200 ml of tap water into a bottle or measuring cup and pour into the base. The required amount of water is exactly 200 ml. If there is more water in the base, sterilization may not be effective. If there is not enough water in the base, it could damage the sterilizer or microwave.
Place the basket on the base.
Place items to be sterilized in the basket.
Place the lid on the sterilizer and press down on the clips to lock the lid in place.
Place the sterilizer in the microwave. The microwave oven must be dry and clean prior to sterilization.
Select the required microwave power and sterilization time, and then turn on the microwave. If you are using a combination oven, make sure the oven or grill is turned off and cooled down before installing the sterilizer.
Contraindications:
- Allow the sterilizer to cool completely before removing it from the microwave. Be careful when moving or opening the sterilizer as it may contain hot water.
- Do not remove the lid of the sterilizer immediately after sterilization, as a jet of hot steam can escape from it, which can cause burns. Wait for the sterilizer to cool down.
- Use only water without any additives.
- Make sure the base is filled with water before placing the sterilizer in the microwave.
- Do not put bleach or other chemicals into the sterilizer.
- Do not place metal objects in the sterilizer, as this may damage the microwave oven.
- Do not overload the sterilizer; otherwise, sterilization may be ineffective.
- Sterilize only baby bottles and other sterilized items. To ensure the item is suitable for sterilization, refer to the user manual.
- The sterilizer is intended for household use only. Do not let children play with the sterilizer.
- Before starting sterilization, be sure to fill the base with 200 ml of water.
- Empty the remaining chilled water from the sterilizer after each use.
- Always allow the sterilizer to cool before storing it.
- Wash your hands thoroughly before handling sterilized items.
- Do not expose the sterilizer to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
- Do not place the sterilizer on a hot surface. If you are using a combination oven (with grill function), make sure the oven or grill is turned off and cooled down before installing the sterilizer.
Storage conditions and terms:
Store the sterilizer out of direct sunlight as it may discolor.
Store the sterilizer in a safe and dry place.
