Ozokerite, or mountain wax, is a natural rock of petroleum origin. It is a mineral from the group of petroleum bitumen, petroleum origin, has an oily odor and plasticity. It consists of a mixture of paraffinic hydrocarbons, mineral oils, asphaltenes, a number of gaseous hydrocarbons, biologically active substances. The effect of ozokerite on the body consists of three factors: temperature, mechanical and chemical. The temperature factor of exposure is due to the ability of ozokerite to transfer heat to the body from the overlying layers very slowly, without causing skin burns.
The action of ozokerite on the body is based on its unique physical characteristics as a heat carrier, as well as chemical and biological properties. Ceresin, asphaltenes and resins contained in ozokerite irritate the skin. Ceresin penetrates into the surface layers of the skin. Biologically active substances, as studies show, penetrate through intact skin into the body.

Ozokerite provides a local thermal effect – deep heating of the pathological zone.
Mode of application:
Ozokerite is preheated to a temperature of 37 – 40 ° C, soaked in a napkin and applied to the skin, an electric heating pad is placed on top (by setting the regulator to position – 1). A napkin with a heating pad is fixed with a bandage. Warming up is carried out at a water temperature of 40 – 45 ° C for 30 minutes. After the end of the procedure, cover the napkin with cellophane film on both sides and put in a cool place. The napkin can be used up to 10 times (5 on one side and 5 on the other).
Technique of procedures for the treatment of infertility: Ozokerite is heated to the required temperature in a water bath. In the treatment of infertility, a napkin-application method of using ozokerite is used: gauze folded in 8 – 10 layers is immersed in molten ozokerite (temperature 50 – 55 ° C), squeezed and applied to the lower abdomen and on the sacral region, covered with oilcloth, and then with a blanket. Usually, the procedures are carried out daily or every other day, the duration of the procedure is from 15 to 30-40 minutes; the course of treatment is 10 – 20 procedures, after the procedure you should rest for 30 – 40 minutes. You can repeat the course of treatment in at least 3 to 4 months.
Consult a specialist before use.
