The unique shape of the Philips Avent breast pump delivers milk from your breast directly into the bottle, even when you’re sitting upright. This means you can get into a more comfortable position while expressing – no more leaning forward to get all the milk into the bottle. A comfortable position and a sense of relaxation while expressing naturally stimulates milk flow and makes the process easier. The new soft velvety coating of the massage cushion leaves a warm feeling on the skin for comfortable and gentle stimulation of milk flow. While pumping, the attachment gently mimics your baby’s breastfeeding experience for natural flow and clinically proven efficacy. Thanks to its design, the soft massage cushion is perfect for most breastfeeding mothers. Thanks to the wide nipple that follows the shape of the breast, you can easily combine breastfeeding and bottle feeding. The compact design and ergonomic handle make it easy to hold, hold and control pumping. Small and lightweight, the breast pump is easy to store and take with you on the go, making pumping more invisible on the go. The shape of the parts allows you to visually determine the order of their connection, allowing easy assembly of the breast pump. The breast pump is suitable for use with other feeding products in the Philips Avent range, including Classic Bottles and Breast Milk Containers. Philips Avent also offers a range of breast care accessories to help you breastfeed longer and more comfortably. Thanks to the small number of individual parts, the breast pump is easy to clean. All parts are dishwasher safe. The Philips Avent manual breast pump is compact and ideal for women who express milk from time to time. Convenient to use with one hand.

Recommendations for use:
Recommended for babies 0-6 months.
Mode of application:
Wash your hands well. The chest should also be clean.
Sit comfortably in a chair (you can place a pillow under your back). There should be a glass of water nearby.
Place the assembled breast pump on your breast. The nipple must be centered to ensure the massage head is sealed.
Lightly start pushing the handle until you feel suction. Then let the handle return to its non-working position.
No need to push the handle all the way. Press so that you feel comfortable. Milk will start flowing soon, despite the lack of suction power.
Repeat step 4 quickly 5 or 6 times to stimulate milk flow.
Slow down the rhythm of work by pressing the knob and holding it for 3 seconds, then let it return to its inoperative position. Perform this procedure while the milk is flowing. If the arm gets tired, start working with the other arm or place it on your body to suck from the other breast. Don’t worry if the milk doesn’t flow right away. Relax and continue pumping. Periodically changing the position of the breast pump on the breast stimulates milk flow. If there is no milk flow, do not use the device for more than 5 minutes at a time. Try expressing milk later. If you experience severe pain or discomfort while expressing, stop pumping and see a lactologist.
It usually takes 10 minutes to express 60-125 ml of breast milk. However, this is only an indicative value, individual for each person.
After expressing, gently remove the pump from the breast and unscrew the bottle or breast milk container from the suction body for feeding or storage. Wash other parts of the breast pump that have been used.
If you regularly express more than 125 ml of milk per session, you can use the Philips Avent 260 ml bottle or the Philips AVENT 240 ml storage cup to prevent overflow and leakage.
