Chlorhexidine Bigluconate is an antiseptic agent with a predominantly bactericidal effect for local external use, which should be in every first-aid kit. It is used to kill microorganisms on various objects, mucous membranes and skin. Chlorhexidine has been successfully used as an external antiseptic and disinfectant for over 60 years, helping to ward off pathogenic bacteria and viruses.
This solution is a colorless liquid, the main active ingredient of which is a solution of Chlorhexidine Bigluconate, the content of which in 1 ml of the drug is 0.5 mg. It is active against vegetative forms of gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, causative agents of nosocomial infections and tuberculosis, infections of viral etiology (hepatitis viruses, HIV, herpes, rotavirus gastroenteritis, enterovirus infections, influenza and other respiratory viral infections), yeast-like dermatitis fungi of the genus and Candida, lipophilic viruses. It acts on bacterial spores only at elevated temperatures; after treatment, the skin remains on it in an amount sufficient for the manifestation of a bactericidal effect.
The mechanism of action of Chlorhexidine Bigluconate 0.05% is in interaction with phosphate groups on the cell surface, as a result of which there is a shift in osmotic equilibrium, a violation of the integrity of the cell and its death.
This drug is widely used to treat the operating field and the surgeon’s hands, disinfect surgical instruments, as well as in purulent-septic processes for washing surgical wounds, bladder, etc.) and for the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases (syphilis, gonorrhea, trichomoniasis).

Mode of application:
The spray is applied to the affected surface of the skin or mucous membranes of the genitourinary organs for 1-3 minutes. 2-3 times a day.
Contraindications:
Do not use with dermatitis, as well as with increased individual sensitivity to the drug. Do not use simultaneously with other antiseptic solutions.
Warning:
