The bark of the wild liana Uncaria tomentosa (Cats Claw), used to make the dietary supplement Cat’s Claw, contains important active ingredients: tetra- and pentacyclic oxindole alkaloids – mitraphiline, pteropodin, rhynchophilin, uncarine and others that stimulate the immune system (activate phagocytosis), have anti-inflammatory , antiarrhythmic, antiplatelet, hypotensive, hypocholesterolemic and preventive antitumor action. In addition to alkaloids, the cat’s claw plant contains other biologically active substances – catechins and proanthocyanidins, polyphenols, triterpenes, plant steroids, which determine its antioxidant, antibacterial, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties.
Recommendations for use:
- with reduced immunity
- frequent colds (more than 4-6 times a year); herpes; frequent exacerbations of chronic diseases (such as tonsillitis, bronchitis, cystitis, gastritis, etc.); increased fatigue, weakness, lethargy – all these are manifestations of weakened immunity
- before the beginning of the autumn-winter season, especially in ecologically unfavorable regions in order to prevent acute respiratory diseases and influenza.
- for viral and bacterial infections, together with antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal agents to enhance the action of the latter, as well as to accelerate the healing processes of the body.
- in chronic inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract and genitourinary system, as well as people with incomplete recovery after an acute infectious disease.

- in case of poisoning with environmental toxins; for cancer patients to improve the quality of life in order to reduce side effects after radiation and chemotherapy.
Method of administration and dosage:
1-2 capsules 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals with a glass of water. The recommended course of admission is 3-4 weeks. Or as prescribed by a doctor. If necessary, the course of admission can be increased to 3 months.

Contraindications:
