Oral capsules Vagisan are used for the treatment and prevention of pathological changes in the vaginal microflora in women and girls who have reached puberty. In particular, the drug Vagisan can be used for sexually transmitted infections (as part of complex therapy), against the background of antibiotic therapy and therapy with other drugs that affect the vaginal microflora (including oral contraceptives and other hormonal drugs), as well as during pregnancy and postpartum period. In addition, Vagisan is prescribed in the complex therapy of urogenital infections, as well as in microflora disorders that are associated with stress or a decrease in immune defense.
Mode of application:
Vagisan capsules are taken orally. It is recommended to take the drug Vagisan during meals, drinking the capsule with a sufficient amount of drinking water. The duration of admission and the dose of the drug Vagisan is determined by the doctor, taking into account the nature of the disease and concomitant therapy. In the combination therapy of acute and chronic disorders of the vaginal microflora, 1-2 capsules of Vagisan are prescribed per day. The duration of the course of taking the drug Vagisan as part of complex therapy is 2-4 weeks. Against the background of oral antibiotics, it is recommended to prescribe 2 Vagisan capsules per day.
The duration of taking the drug Vagisan against the background of antibiotic therapy should be at least 2 weeks.
